Membership Procedure

Rochester Rifle Club is currently accepting new members.

To apply for membership, fill out an application, include the application fee and mail it to the club. A sponsor is not required but if you have a current club member or local firearms proprietor sponsor at the bottom of the application, that person will receive a "thank you" finder fee. Applications can be picked up at the range or printed from the website (below). Contact RRC if you would like to arrange an inspection of the facility or need additional information. Once completed, the application should be mailed to the club PO Box with a check or money order for the non-refundable $10 application fee. Mail to: RRC, PO Box 20617, Rochester NY 14602-0617.

After the application is accepted, the applicant will be invited to attend a safety class orientation. After successful completion of the orientation and payment of the remaining initiation and membership fees the new member will receive a keycard for 24/7 access to the club and is then an associate member of Rochester Rifle Club.

Spousal and junior members can be added to an associate member's membership for a nominal fee. Spousal and junior members must provide evidence of basic firearms training before using the range. Attendance at the new member orientation with the associate member is one way to fulfill that requirement.

Current Fees:

  • Application Fee: $10
  • Associate Member Dues: $75/year
  • Associate Member Initiation: $75 (less application fee)
  • Add Spousal or Junior member: $10 ea
