2026-2027 Rochester Rifle Club Prone Series

Competition open to: To all competitors regardless of age. Minimum age for Juniors is 12 years old. You need not be a member of the NRA or the Rochester Rifle Club. All competitors must have an “Eligibility Affidavit and Liability Agreement” on file at the Rochester Rifle Club. Forms will be available on site.

Entry Fee: $10.00 payable day of match

Entries Close: 12pm, Sunday prior to the match. Walk-ins are welcome providing they contact the match director prior to arrival to verify an opening. Please request 1st or 2nd relay. Relay preference subject to availability. First come, first served.

Firing Starts: 6pm & 8pm. Relays determined by sign up.

Rules: Current Edition of Civilian Marksmanship Smallbore Rules

Course of fire: 60 shots. 50ft Smallbore Rifle. Prone Metallic and Any Sights. FTR and F Open Classes. Orion Scoring System to be used. Match to be scored using the decimal system.

Sanctioning: Civilian Marksmanship Program. All shooters must obtain a free CMP Competitor Number for scores to be submitted to the CMP Competition Tracker. You may obtain a number by registering through thecmp.org, competition tracker website.

Awards: Cash awards to be determined by total number of entries and paid out at end of season. Top 2 in Junior, Metallic, F-class, and Any Sights divisions. 4 match minimum required for award, based on a 2400 aggregate of top 4 matches.
