NRA Classes at Rochester Rifle Club

Rochester Rifle Club offers various NRA firearms training classes. When classes are scheduled, they will be posted here. For infomation about the NRA classes offered by RRC, visit our club contact page for the email address.

Scheduled Classes:
  

NRA Basic Pistol Course - $75 per person
Saturday, February 25, 2012 - 8AM - 1PM
Saturday, March 3, 2012 - 8AM - 1PM
Registration ends Feb. 1, 2012.
 
- Must have a valid NYS pistol permit
- NRA certification certificate issued upon completion (needed for out of state
  non-resident permits.

- Learn the basic knowledge, skills and attitude necessary for owning and using a
  pistol safely
- Pistol Knowledge and Safe Gun Handling
- Ammunition Knowledge and the Fundamentals of Pistol Shooting
- Firing the First Shots
- Two Handed and One Handed Standing Shooting Positions
- Pistol Sports and Activities
